Panagiotis V. Drimalas graduated with honors from Medical School in September 1991. He first worked at the Hematology and Blood Donation Department of the University Hospital of Rio, and then at the "Agioi Anargyroi" Oncology Hospital, gaining meaningful experience in oncology care.
He completed his Internal Medicine specialty at the Red Cross Hospital and, in October 2002, completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine. Since then, he has maintained a private practice, combining conventional medicine with medical acupuncture.
In Santorini, he is also an external internal medicine collaborator at Santorini General Hospital, with practical knowledge of the island's healthcare infrastructure and better coordination when further assessment is required.
